BIO-VAC Tubes, Holders, and Needles are designed to work together as a complete system for collecting, transporting, and processing whole blood for serum and plasma testing. The tubes are manufactured from high-quality Polyethylene Terephthalate (PET) plastic, with an option for Borosilicate glass. The volume of blood collected may vary depending on factors such as altitude, ambient temperature, barometric pressure, tube age, venous pressure, and filling technique. The cap is made from Polyethylene (PE) or LDPE, while the stopper is crafted from Butyl rubber to ensure a secure, leak-proof seal.

The blood collection system consists of a vacuum blood collection tube, blood collection needle, holder, and tourniquet.
